۲/2 Iran hangs man accused of spying for Israel
Since January, more than 1,000 have been executed—the highest number in fifteen years (Amnesty International). On September 29, United Nations experts said:
“The sheer scale of executions in Iran is staggering and represents a grave violation of the right to life. With an average of more than nine hangings per day in recent weeks, Iran appears to be conducting executions at an industrial scale that defies all accepted standards of human rights protection.” (ohchr.org)
۳/3 19 political prisoners go on two-day hunger strike
After going on a dry hunger strike, on October 1, activist Hossein Ronaghi was transferred from prison to a hospital on furlough (X/IranWire).

۶/6 #OneIranForAll campaign shared by prominent diaspora voices

According to the campaign, which was launched on October 2 to mark International Day of Non-Violence:
“‘One Iran for All’ is a newly launched campaign uniting voices around a shared pledge: to pursue a free, secular, and undivided Iran governed by the rule of law, rooted in human rights, and committed to democratic change through respectful dialogue—not hatred.
It affirms a democratic system representative of and accountable to the Iranian people, whose form will be determined solely by them in a free and fair election. The campaign calls for unity in confronting the regime, not one another, and urges all Iranians—inside and outside the country—to channel disagreements into respectful debate and build alliances grounded in a shared commitment to democracy.
Quoting Martin Luther King Jr., it reminds us: ‘Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.’
Recognizing the difficulty of the road ahead, the campaign urges courage and discipline—rejecting the regime’s brutality and refusing to mirror its oppression.”
The post has been shared by prominent diaspora voices such as actress and activist Nazanin Boniadi, Mahsa Piraei, whose mother was slain during the Woman, Life, Freedom uprising, and human rights lawyer Gissou Nia.
Separately, former Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi launched the platform, We Will Take Iran Back, which aims to expose corruption and gather financial and logistical support for his “National Campaign to Save Iran.” (Jerusalem Post) Pahlavi also has a transition plan for the first 100 days post-Islamic Republic. Meanwhile, Citizen Lab and Haaretz reported that the Israeli government indirectly funded Persian-language online campaigns aimed at overthrowing the clerical establishment, including a campaign to reinstate the monarchy.
